Teresa: Now that I've been in business almost 3 1/2 years, I've found my "secret sauce". There's quite a few "car buyers" out here, and all of us save customers time and money. We all have knowledge and experience, and we all have the love for cars. What I think I have is that desire to go above and beyond for my clients and I tend to take it personal. I take on the desire to buy each car, as though I'm buying it for me, or my family. I want the car to be different, like the one of a kind car. I look for cars that feel just right. If my spirit says no, then I won't touch that car. And normally, my spirit is always right. If a car seems to hard to buy, then typically, it's not the right car. I check the car's history, the carfax, try to make sure it's one owner, and know as much as I can about the car. I don't buy a lot of auction cars unless my clients request them. I follow what feels right for the client and for me. I listen to what my clients say they LOVE, I listen to small details about their ride, the client's size, their favorite colors, what their children like, how they like to drive, what kind of space they like, what features are important to them. And I try to accommodate exactly what they want. I don't go for their 2nd choices, I go for their 1st choices. That way they get exactly what they want. I also make sure my clients test drive the cars they want me to buy for them. I set up appointments for them to go out and drive the cars that I"ll be buying for them. There's nothing worse than buying a car, and getting it delivered to you, and you don't like it. I make sure they are completely satisfied with their purchase. I also try to get cars that are different, it makes you feel special, if that's what you want. Like special features, special colors, really cute cars that stand out. If they want a Mercedes, I try to find one that's different than all the other basic Mercedes Benz. So I search a little harder to find one with special features that others don't have. It takes a little longer, but it's so worth it when it's delivered and you see "your" car! You feel like it's truly "yours" and not everyone has "your" car! Then you understand why hiring a "Carcierge" is different. Because I take the time to get to know you, and what you like. Not just throw you in the first car you're "approved" for that you may not like. Because I feel like, if you have to pay for a car, pay for something that you love! I think the biggest win with my clients, is the home delivery. Most of them can get their cars delivered at home without going to the dealership and thats the biggest win of all. And when they are happy, that's my win!! And the savings is always a plus!! With the education, the personal touch, and the savings, once they use the service, they vow, to never buy a car the traditional way again, and they send me everyone they know. (smile) They are hoping I never retire, and it makes me happy that they love the personal service I can give them.

So we made the first year in business!! Normally for a small business, the first year is the hardest year to survive, but it happened! And because it happened, I wanted to celebrate with all my clients, family and friends. I held a Anniversary party themed "24kt Magic" and the color combo was Gold and White. The celebration was held at Peter Thomas's club, ClubOne in Charlotte NC. There was a Jazz Band, "J'WYN", the worldwide known DJ, "DJ Bruce" (Soljaboy's Official DJ), the Chef was the famous Chef Anthony Smith out of Chicago with an amazing food spread, and the Cigar Bar was by Tailored Smoke of Charlotte NC. The event was amazing and it definitely was a celebration of the first year in service. I would like to personally thank all my vendors, KDM Ventures, Upper Echelon Business Services, and SourceDox for being supportive of Let's Go Buy A Car. A big thank you to all the clients that trusted Let's Go Buy A Car for the 1st year to get them amazing savings on their purchases. A special Thank You to my 3 amazing children, RC, Tyrell and Christina, that took control of the event an made it even more amazing! Thank you to all the family and friends that drove hours to get here just to celebrate, and to all the local friends that purchased tickets to be there to celebrate with me. I value each and everyone of you! I can't wait until the 2 year celebration!! Here are some of the photos from the event for you all to enjoy!
Let's Go Buy A Car celebrated, along with, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and Synergy of Empowered Women of Charlotte the 3rd anniversary of Valerie Larson and Ed Bracey, as they empowered everyone with their amazing stories of survival. Cancer not only affects the person who has the disease, it affects the families and friends of the people it touches. There is so much research that's happening that we were not aware and we were informed at the event. Being around Valerie and Ed was so enlightening and amazing! Their spirit lit up the room, even though we were all in white for the occasion anyway! Watching everyone support the event, and the cause was amazing! LGBaC strives to be a pilar of the organization when it comes to supporting and giving back. We proudly support our charities that need assistance that we can provide. Thanks Foreign Car Italia for the support and for providing the amazing Maserati Grand Turismo for the White Party! We look forward to continue to support events with our clients and our organizations!

More to come, Teresa Crawford, President Have you ever been to a dealership and they told you that you have $3000 or more, of negative equity? Then they say, don't worry about it, we will take care of it. And you say "ok". Well do you really know what negative equity is? Do you ask? Who pays for it? Do you ask, or do you just take the salesman's word that it will be "handled". Well this will explain briefly how negative equity hurts you.
Negative equity means that the car you are driving is not worth what the payoff is. For instance, if your payoff is $12,000 and your car's trade value is worth $8000. Then you have $4000 of negative equity. The dealership will pay off the $12,000, but they charge YOU the $4000. It's added to the price of your new car. So the car the you are paying $20,000 for, just went up to $24,000! Now the bank may not loan you $24,000 on an $20,000 car without $4000 down to cover your "negative equity". But the salesperson didn't tell you that. So your goal is to not roll over negative equity. You get negative equity by paying too much for a car. This is just a tip on negative equity. If you need help buying a car, and not dealing with "negative equity", we are here at "Let's Go Buy A Car" to help solve those problems! Teresa Crawford President |
